Transition Time

Well it finally happened- After 18 years in China, the Lord is leading us home. The plan is to return to the States in September. We do not yet know exactly where we will live or what we will be doing, but we trust God has us in His hands.

Peter walked on the water. Now it's our turn! This is one of the hardest moves we will probably ever make. But we are trusting God who is bigger than the odds. Proverbs 3:6: Acknowledge Him in all your ways and He will direct your paths.

I know that many people are in a "transition position" these days. There's no point in playing it safe and dying where you are. This may be a time to join us and get out of the boat to walk on water. For us it means coming home. For some of you it could mean leaving home! We can't fail. Even if we start to sink, Jesus will be there to catch us.

Transitions can be discomforting, but they are not bad. It is necessary to choose the way you view things. You can choose if you are going to focus on the odds and all the impossibilities, or you can choose to get excited and eager to see God work. The former will destroy you, the latter will bring life.

Be faithful through the difficult process and you will have a great testimony in the end!

God's business is salvation to the uttermost (Hebrews 7:25). The enemy lies and says, "He's left you." God has said: "Even to your old age I am He, and even to gray hairs I will carry you! I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you" (Isaiah 46:4). He didn't bring you to where you are just to let you fend for yourself now. Your greatest chapter lies in the pages ahead!

During this time, my posting may become even more sparse than it normally is! But please keep checking back. Lots of good stuff in the archives! The blog will continue. In the meanwhile, there's a minister available. If you would like to work together, please contact me.
