Spiritual Academy

Welcome to the Interpulpit Spiritual Academy!

This page presents an outline for personal study. There's a lot of material on this website and it's usually read hit or miss. Many of the truths presented here are not typically taught on a regular basis in mainstream churches. It is easy to be encouraged by a hit or miss reading, but it's also likely to be forgotten.

This is an attempt to make it stick. Here at the Interpulpit Spiritual Academy, different posts and articles are included into a curriculum. By following the guide presented below, it is hoped that the reader may be guided into a better grounded understanding of the truths that I write about- the truths that have changed my life. Change does not come all at once. There needs to be a commitment to renew the mind. I believe a commitment to follow the material below on a consistent basis will prove to be a great blessing to you. Bookmark this page and spread it out over some time.

I would like to interact with you as well. If you have questions or need clarification of anything here please contact me. Even if you don't have any questions, it would be nice to hear from you if you have decided to work through this.
First Things

It is assumed that you have placed your faith in Jesus Christ and are living in a true relationship with Him.

If not, understand that: all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23); the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord (Romans 6:23); and God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16).

If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
(Romans 10:9-13).

Put your faith in Jesus. Receiving His love and salvation, determine to live for Him as an expression of gratitude (not as an attempt to earn anything or to become a better person). Make a decision to never turn back. This is described in the Bible as being "born again." (John 3:3; 1Peter 1:23).
